The motto of the Druids the world over is "United to Assist", and one of our missions is to promote knowledge. To that end the Druids created the Druidic Scholarship Awards Program.

Since its founding in 1951 the Druidic Scholarship Awards Program has been giving out scholarships to deserving students from high schools throughout the state each year.

The Program currently gives up to twenty (20) students a one-time grant of $1,500.00 each.

Two of the scholarships are reserved for trade school applicants should there be any, and the rest for academic schools.

New scholarship applications become available after January 1 each year. A request for an application is to be mailed to the secretary of the Scholarship Committee or the secretary of the sponsoring unit, be it Grove, Circle, or Chapter. Each unit has copies of the application and forms.

There are some grade point requirements. Applicants must be a current high school senior graduating with at least a 2.75 Cumulative GPA. Any student applying for trade school must have at least a 2.50 Cumulative GPA.

Financial hardship is considered.

Please contact scholarship secretary Pete Azevedo or your nearest Grove's secretary for applications and information.
